MaxiDive completed CRMS Bio-Fouling Inspection and Cleaning for a commercial vessel at Laem Chabang Anchorage, Thailand. The project supported vessel biofouling review through underwater inspection, selected cleaning and technical photo/video documentation of key submerged areas.
The operation was carried out while the vessel remained afloat, allowing the vessel’s technical team to receive clear underwater condition records without dry docking. MaxiDive’s commercial diving team used underwater camera equipment, GoPro documentation, hydraulic tools, hand tools and other professional diving equipment to complete the work scope.

CRMS Bio-Fouling Inspection and Cleaning Scope
The scope focused on documenting underwater condition and cleaning selected areas where marine growth or inspection requirements made access necessary. The work included visual inspection of submerged hull areas, underwater fittings, propeller-related areas and other points relevant to biofouling assessment.
The operation included:
Underwater visual inspection
Biofouling condition documentation
Selected underwater cleaning
Inspection of submerged fittings and equipment
Propeller-area documentation
Hydraulic and hand-tool cleaning support
Photo and video records for technical review
Commercial diving support at anchorage

Underwater Documentation of Fittings and Propeller Area
For CRMS biofouling review, flat hull surfaces are only one part of the inspection. Submerged fittings, propeller-related areas, recesses and equipment zones can retain marine growth and require closer documentation.
During this project, MaxiDive documented selected underwater components and fittings to provide the vessel’s management team with a clear technical record. Close-range underwater photo and video documentation was prepared to support condition review and maintenance planning.

Selected Cleaning for Biofouling Control
Where required, MaxiDive carried out selected underwater cleaning using suitable hydraulic and hand tools. The cleaning process supported visibility, access and documentation of the inspected areas.
Controlled cleaning is important during biofouling-related work because it helps vessel operators understand the actual underwater condition beneath marine growth while supporting practical maintenance decisions.
Commercial Diving Support at Laem Chabang Anchorage
Laem Chabang Anchorage is one of Thailand’s key operational areas for commercial vessels. MaxiDive regularly supports vessels in this area with underwater inspection, CRMS biofouling support, hull cleaning, propeller polishing, sea chest cleaning, rope removal, underwater maintenance and emergency underwater repair.
For this project, the diving team worked under calm sea conditions and maintained worksite coordination throughout the operation.
Technical Value for Vessel Managers
CRMS Bio-Fouling Inspection and Cleaning provides vessel managers, technical superintendents and marine operators with practical underwater evidence for condition review. The combination of inspection, selected cleaning and photo/video reporting supports biofouling documentation, voyage preparation and future maintenance planning.
MaxiDive continues to provide commercial diving services in Thailand for vessels requiring underwater inspection, cleaning, technical reporting and reliable operational support.
