MaxiDive completed CRMS Bio-Fouling Inspection for a commercial vessel at Koh Si Chang Anchorage, Thailand. The operation supported vessel biofouling review through underwater inspection, selected cleaning support and technical photo/video documentation while the vessel remained afloat.
This project was carried out at anchorage, where workboat coordination, equipment readiness and controlled diving operations are essential for safe and efficient execution. MaxiDive’s commercial diving team used underwater documentation equipment, hydraulic tools, hand tools and support systems to inspect selected submerged areas and record their condition for technical review.

The CRMS Bio-Fouling Inspection scope focused on documenting underwater condition in areas where marine growth can accumulate and where close-range verification is required. The inspection included hull-related areas, submerged fittings, propeller-related zones and selected surfaces requiring visual confirmation.

Workboat Coordination for Underwater Inspection
For anchorage-based underwater operations, proper workboat setup is a key part of the project. The diving team must prepare equipment, hoses, tools and documentation systems before entering the water, while maintaining coordination with the vessel and support crew throughout the operation.
In this project, the workboat provided a stable platform for the diving team and equipment. This allowed the team to move between inspection points, document submerged areas and provide selected cleaning support where improved visibility or access was required.

Underwater Documentation for Biofouling Review
CRMS biofouling work depends on clear underwater evidence. Vessel managers and technical superintendents need reliable photo and video records to understand the condition of submerged surfaces, identify marine growth and decide whether additional cleaning or maintenance is required.
MaxiDive documented the inspected areas with underwater photo and video records. This documentation supports internal technical review, biofouling management, voyage planning and maintenance decisions while the vessel remains in service.

Selected Cleaning Support During Inspection
Where marine growth affected visibility or access, MaxiDive provided selected cleaning support using suitable underwater tools. This approach helps expose the surface condition beneath biofouling and supports more accurate documentation.
Selected cleaning during inspection is especially useful around fittings, edges, recessed areas and propeller-related zones, where marine growth can remain difficult to assess without close-range underwater work.
