MaxiDive completed CRMS Bio-Fouling Inspection and Cleaning for a commercial vessel at Koh Si Chang Anchorage, Thailand. The operation supported biofouling documentation requirements through underwater inspection, selected cleaning and technical photo/video records.
The work was carried out by MaxiDive’s commercial diving team using underwater camera equipment, GoPro documentation, hydraulic tools, hand tools and other professional diving equipment. The operation was completed while the vessel remained afloat, helping the vessel’s technical team review underwater condition without dry docking.

CRMS Bio-Fouling Inspection and Cleaning Scope
The scope focused on documenting and cleaning selected underwater areas relevant to biofouling assessment. MaxiDive’s diving team inspected required underwater zones and recorded the condition of hull surfaces, appendage areas and other locations where marine growth may accumulate.
The operation included:
Underwater visual inspection
Biofouling condition documentation
Selected underwater cleaning
Hydraulic and hand-tool cleaning support
Photo and video records for technical review
Commercial diving support at anchorage

Underwater Documentation for Biofouling Review
Professional underwater documentation is an important part of CRMS and biofouling-related support. Vessel managers and technical teams need clear visual records to confirm the underwater condition, identify areas of marine growth and plan any further cleaning or maintenance if required.
During this project, MaxiDive documented the underwater work with photo and video records. These records help support technical review and provide a clear reference of the inspected and cleaned areas.

Selected Cleaning with Hydraulic and Hand Tools
Where cleaning was required, MaxiDive used suitable underwater tools for the surface and work location. Hydraulic tools and hand tools were used to support controlled removal of marine growth from selected areas.
The cleaning process was carried out by the diving team with attention to the vessel’s underwater surfaces and operational safety. This approach helps provide practical support for vessel biofouling documentation while reducing the need for extended operational interruption.

Commercial Diving Support at Koh Si Chang Anchorage
Koh Si Chang Anchorage is one of Thailand’s key locations for commercial vessel operations. MaxiDive regularly supports vessels in this area with underwater inspection, hull cleaning, propeller polishing, sea chest cleaning, CRMS biofouling support and other underwater ship services.
For this project, the diving team worked under moderate sea conditions and limited underwater visibility, maintaining communication and coordination throughout the operation.
Technical Value for Vessel Managers
CRMS Bio-Fouling Inspection and Cleaning provides vessel managers, technical superintendents and marine operators with practical underwater information. The combination of inspection, selected cleaning and photo/video documentation supports maintenance planning, voyage preparation and biofouling-related review.
MaxiDive continues to support commercial vessels across Thailand with professional commercial diving services, underwater inspection, hull cleaning, biofouling support and technical reporting.
