MaxiDive completed CRMS Bio-Fouling Inspection and Cleaning at Koh Si Chang Anchorage, Thailand, providing underwater inspection, selected cleaning support and structured photo/video documentation for vessel biofouling review.
The operation was carried out while the vessel remained afloat, allowing the client to obtain clear underwater records without dry docking. MaxiDive’s commercial diving team documented the vessel’s underwater condition across key hull areas, including the bow, port and starboard hull sections, waterline transects, stern areas, skeg and transom zones.
CRMS Bio-Fouling Inspection and Cleaning Scope
The inspection scope focused on identifying and documenting biofouling levels on underwater surfaces and appendages. The team followed a structured hull inspection pattern with vertical and waterline transects to ensure consistent visual records across the vessel.
The documented areas included hull plating, bulbous bow areas, port and starboard waterline zones, stern sections, appendages and other underwater components relevant to biofouling assessment. The inspection also included photo and video documentation to support technical review and client reporting.
Underwater Cleaning and Biofouling Documentation
Where required, MaxiDive carried out selected underwater cleaning using hydrophilic tools, hand tools and supporting underwater equipment. The cleaning process was focused on controlled removal of marine growth from selected areas while maintaining careful attention to the vessel’s coating condition.
The operation supported clear visual documentation of inspected areas and helped provide the client with practical information about the underwater condition of the vessel.
Commercial Diving Support at Koh Si Chang Anchorage
Koh Si Chang Anchorage is one of the key operational areas where MaxiDive provides commercial diving, underwater inspection, hull cleaning and marine maintenance services. For this project, the team coordinated the work with the vessel’s crew, prepared the required underwater equipment and completed the inspection and cleaning support under controlled site conditions.
