For this project, the MaxiDive team performed a full underwater inspection of the vessel’s vertical sides and propeller-related areas while the vessel was alongside in Laem Chabang Port.
The inspection scope included:
hull plating
appendages
propeller assembly
rudder assembly
The operation was carried out using underwater inspection tools and diver-based visual assessment methods suitable for port conditions and close-up verification of critical underwater areas.

Inspection Findings
The inspection confirmed that the overall hull plating was in excellent condition. No marine fouling was observed, and the topcoat and weld seams were found intact. No sign of contact damage or abnormality was noted on the inspected hull areas.
The appendage inspection also showed a positive condition profile. Sea chest gratings were found secure and in place, discharges were in excellent condition, ICCP showed no damage or abnormalities, and bilge keel sections were observed in excellent condition. The thruster was also reported in excellent condition with no abnormalities noted.
During the propeller inspection, no sign of entanglement was observed. The seal assembly was found free from leakage and abnormalities, while the rope guard was in excellent condition. The propeller surface roughness was measured at grade “D,” providing a clear reference point for technical assessment. All blades were found free from damage and abnormalities, and the boss cap with fins was secure and intact with no damage observed.
The rudder assembly inspection showed the rudder free from movement, with the inspection hatch securely in place. The drain plug was secure and the keeper intact. The overall topcoat and weld seam were in excellent condition, no rudder movement was detected, and all anodes were secure and active.
