MaxiDive completed CRMS Bio-Fouling Inspection and Cleaning for a commercial vessel at Koh Si Chang Anchorage, Thailand. The project supported vessel biofouling review through underwater inspection, selected cleaning and technical photo/video documentation while the vessel remained afloat.
This operation required vessel-side coordination, preparation of hydraulic cleaning equipment, underwater camera systems and commercial diving support from the workboat. The scope focused on documenting submerged areas where marine growth may accumulate, including hull surfaces, fittings, appendage-related zones and propeller-area components.

CRMS Bio-Fouling Inspection and Cleaning Scope
The scope was focused on underwater condition verification and selected cleaning support for biofouling documentation. MaxiDive’s diving team carried out close-range underwater inspection and recorded visual evidence for the vessel’s technical review.

Vessel-Side Equipment Coordination
A key part of this project was the preparation and coordination of equipment from the workboat alongside the vessel. For CRMS Bio-Fouling Inspection and Cleaning, the diving team must be ready to inspect, document and clean selected areas depending on the underwater condition found during the operation.
Hydraulic equipment, hoses, underwater tools and documentation systems were prepared on deck to support efficient diver operations. This setup allowed the team to move between inspection points and cleaning areas while maintaining safe communication and worksite control.

Underwater Documentation of Propeller-Related Areas
For biofouling review, propeller-related areas and nearby underwater fittings are important because marine growth can remain around recesses, edges and equipment surfaces. These zones often require close-range inspection and clear underwater photo/video documentation.
During this project, MaxiDive documented the propeller-area condition and selected submerged components for technical review. This helps vessel managers and technical superintendents better understand the underwater condition and plan any follow-up maintenance if required.
Selected Cleaning for Biofouling Review
Where cleaning was required, MaxiDive carried out selected underwater cleaning using suitable hydraulic and hand tools. Controlled cleaning helps improve visibility of submerged structures and supports more accurate condition documentation.
This type of cleaning is not only about removing marine growth. It also helps provide a clearer record of underwater surfaces, fittings and equipment condition for vessel management review.
Commercial Diving Support at Koh Si Chang Anchorage
Koh Si Chang Anchorage is one of Thailand’s key operational areas for commercial vessels.
