MaxiDive completed CRMS Bio-Fouling Inspection and Cleaning for a commercial vessel at Koh Si Chang Anchorage, Thailand. The project supported vessel biofouling documentation through underwater inspection, selected cleaning and technical photo/video records while the vessel remained afloat.
This operation required careful coordination at anchorage, with commercial diving equipment, hydraulic tools, hand tools and underwater documentation systems prepared to support the inspection and cleaning scope. The work was performed by MaxiDive’s commercial diving team to provide the vessel’s technical team with a clear underwater condition record for review.
CRMS Bio-Fouling Inspection and Cleaning Scope
The scope focused on underwater condition verification and selected cleaning of areas relevant to biofouling assessment. For this type of work, the diving team does not only check large hull surfaces. Biofouling can also accumulate around fittings, recessed areas, appendages and other underwater zones that require close-range inspection.

Koh Si Chang Anchorage is one of Thailand’s important operational areas for commercial vessels. Underwater work at anchorage requires reliable equipment preparation, safe diver support, vessel-side coordination and clear communication throughout the operation.
For this project, MaxiDive prepared the required diving and cleaning systems onboard the support vessel to allow efficient access to the work area. This approach helped the diving team complete underwater inspection and selected cleaning without requiring dry docking or interrupting the vessel’s wider operational schedule.
Biofouling Documentation and Cleaning Support
CRMS biofouling inspection is a documentation-driven process. Vessel managers and technical superintendents need clear underwater records to understand the actual condition of submerged areas and determine whether additional cleaning or maintenance is required.
During this operation, MaxiDive documented the inspected areas using underwater photo and video equipment. Where marine growth or inspection access required attention, selected cleaning was carried out using suitable hydraulic and hand tools.
